Welcome to the
Diamond Lake Yacht Club


The Diamond Lake Yacht Club is situated on beautiful Diamond Lake, a 1000+ acre lake in Cass County in southwestern lower Michigan. The DLYC is dedicated to sailing, youth development, lake preservation, and water safety.  We offer members a beautiful club house, a full social calendar, a pickleball court and still lots of sailing and swimming lessons.  For non-members we offer sailing  and swimming classes on Diamond Lake

Welcome Back Party Registration Open!

Join us on May 16th as we welcome back the season and celebrate our newest members at Diamond Lake Yacht Club. The evening begins at 5pm with a fantastic menu and even better people!

Enjoy live music from Mike Talbot as you take in a beautiful night on the lake with friends, family, and fellow members.

Reservations are required and must be made by Wednesday, May 13th. $45 per person.


Pancakes, boats, and the future of sailing all in one morning!


Join us on Sunday, May 24th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for one of the most exciting and meaningful events of the season, our Pancake Breakfast and Sailing Open House.


Start your morning with a full lakefront breakfast, then step into the action with on the water demos, boat rides, and a live showcase from Gull Lake Marine.


This event is all about the Youth Sailing Program!


Meet our instructors, learn how the program works, and see firsthand how we are building confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills on the water. No membership is required and the program is open to the entire community.


A portion of all boat sales from the event and the following three weeks will go directly to supporting youth sailing.


Bring your family, bring your friends, and come experience sailing at the lake. Open to everyone and all ages welcome.

Sailing School Registration Is Open! 


Our Diamond Lake Youth Sailing School is led by a US Sailing Certified leader with a experienced team of sailing instructors. Our sailing courses include several levels for those new to sailing and more experienced youths. Our instruction fleet includes Opti's and 420's. We also offer to members - a KinderSail class for those very young (5-6year old) new sailors and a chance for parents to sail with their youth sailors and instructors in our weekend parent and child classes.
