2020 Rental Rates for DLYC Clubhouse
The DLYC clubhouse can be rented by a DLYC member on a Sunday thru Thursday for $250 and Friday thru Saturday for $750. A non-member may rent from Sunday thru Thursday for $500 and Friday thru Saturday for $1,000. All rentals must be approved by the Vice Commodore and the Social Chairperson to ensure the dates do not conflict with any other DLYC activity. Party capacity is 120 persons. Rental calendar starts May 15 and runs through October 15. Rental rates in the off season are $250 for members and $500 for non-members for a party lasting no more than 4 hours.
All rentals require a security/damage deposit of $250 with $50 non-refundable and the rest will be refunded if the Clubhouse is left in a clean condition and there are no damages. All rentals require proof of insurance with limits of liability of at least $300,000, with DLYC to be designated as an additional or as the named insured on the renter's policy. All rentals where alcohol is served will always need to have an adult behind the bar.
Use of the club by a non-profit for an event sponsored by a DLYC club member will require approval by the Executive Committee provided that the Social Chairperson approves the date. This will be limited to two (2) events per season.
There will be a cleaning deposit of $250 with $50 non-refundable and the rest will be refunded if the Clubhouse is left clean and there are no damages.
Free use of the club for an event by an affiliated organization (such as DLA) will require approval by the Executive Committee provided the Social Chairperson approves the date.
